Leave letter from your employer for a Schengen visa (NOC)
If you are employed, consulates usually ask for a letter from your employer that confirms your job and your approved leave. In India it is often called an NOC (no objection certificate).
What it should say
- That you work there, since when, and your job title. Salary is optional, but often helpful.
- The exact dates of your approved leave, matching your trip.
- That your job is kept and the date you return to work.
- That the company has no objection to the trip.
- The name, title and contact details of the person who signs.
