What to say in your letter

That you are retired, since when, and from which job or employer.
Your income: a monthly pension, and savings if the pension alone does not cover the trip.
Why you will come back: your home, family, grandchildren, medical appointments or community.
Your health insurance: travel medical insurance for the whole trip. Some insurers limit age, so check the policy.
